Requirement:
Printer must be connected via USB cable.
Printer must be power on.
Visit the website.
Canon imageCLASS MF4380dn/MF4370dn/MF4350d/MF4320d Drivers for Linux
Download the file UFR_II_Printer_Driver_for_Linux_V210_uk_EN.tar.gz
Extract the files.
If you are using 64 Bits, then we just need both files.
UFR_II_Printer_Driver_for_Linux_V210_uk_EN/64-bit_Driver/RPM/cndrvcups-common-2.10-1.x86_64.rpm
UFR_II_Printer_Driver_for_Linux_V210_uk_EN/64-bit_Driver/RPM/cndrvcups-ufr2-uk-2.10-1.x86_64.rpm
If you do not have rpm, just type in console.
apt-get install apm
If you do not have alien, just type in console.
apt-get install alien
sudo alien --to-deb --scripts cndrvcups-common-2.10-1.x86_64.rpm
sudo alien --to-deb --scripts cndrvcups-ufr2-uk-2.10-1.x86_64.rpm
Then you will get these both files.
cndrvcups-common_2.10-2_amd64.deb
cndrvcups-common_2.10-2_amd64.deb
Right click and
Select ‘Open with GDebi Package Installer’
Install both of them.
If you are using 32bit, the .deb files are included in the download files from Canon.
Make sure your Canon Printer is connected to USB and power on.
Then click System … Administration .. Printing … Add … You can see your printer.
That’s all.
