How to upgrade Samsung Spica to Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread ?

This is an old old Android phone. I’ve been using for few years.

Android Gingerbread Logo
The code name is Samsung i5700.
I upgraded from
Android 1.5 to Android 1.6
Then
Upgrade again from
Android 1.6 to Android 2.2
Then now and upgraded to
Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread.

The easiest way is using
[adrotate banner=”2″]

SuperOneClick v2.1.1

After that download this

Spica Kitchen

Then enter to recovery mode, and mount the sdcard, and copy the Kitchen zip to sdcard.

Run the zip from the recovery mode, then the newest version will be installed.

This is still beta release, the camera is not working.

Make sure you backup all your data before try on this. I am not responsible for any data loss and or bricked phones.
So, try it yourself, if something wrong, blame yourself. ;)

This is only for Samsung Spica I5700 not for other Android Phone like
Samsung Galaxy S2
Samsung Galaxy S
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
Samsung Galaxy Tab
Motorola
HTC

Motorola Charm

Samsung Transform M920
Samsung Vibrant
