Mac OS X is not supported with software virtualization

Mac OS X is not supported with software virtualization. To run Mac OS X you need a host on which VMware Wordstation supports hardware virtualization.

I would like to run Mac OS X in the VMware on my PC.

But the motherboard that I’m using is  Intel DG35EC, I bought it during 2008 October, it is almost 4 years old.

Intel Desktop Board Support for Virtualization Technology

I was trying to check on my BIOS, and I cannot find anything about Virtualization Technology in there. So I found in internet for the Intel website.

I’ve check in official website of Intel.

Motherboard that support Virtualization Technology

For those motherboard support Virtualization Technology, should have this setting in the BIOS, you can press DEL or F2 in some motherboard while booting up your PC to setting there.

The default setting of the Virtualization always in Disabled.

The final summary solution

  1. If your motherboard supports Virtualization Technology and still you get the error then go in your BIOS settings and enable Virtulization Technology
  2. If your motherboard do not support Virtualization Technology then there is no option you need to buy a new motherboard and processor.
